Emma Mooradian (she/they) Emma Mooradian is a saxophonist and arts administrator based in Brooklyn, New York. An advocate for new music, Emma has a passion for mixed-media works that challenge and expand traditional forms of art and standards of performance practice. They have given solo and chamber recitals at multiple conferences, including recent performances at the 2021 North American Saxophone Alliance Region 2 Conference, International Navy Band Saxophone Symposium as a member of the ATLas Quartet, Georgia State Saxophone Ensemble, and Koru Quartet, as well as with the Susquehanna University Saxophone Ensemble. In addition to performing, Emma is an avid teacher, having taught saxophone and bassoon privately in California, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. She currently serves as the Head of Conservatory at the Dwight School in Manhattan, Yew York.
